We'd love you to share the most important day of our lives with us

Will and Andrea

The Venue

Hacienda El Rosalejo

Villamartín · Cádiz · Andalusia · Spain

We know many of you will be travelling to be with us, and we want you to know how much it means to us.

We'll be celebrating in the Sierra de Cádiz, at a place we fell in love with from the very first moment.

The hacienda sits just outside Villamartín, about 7 km from the village, in the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz. The easiest way to get there is by car or on one of our minibuses.

The big day

Sunday, 24 October 2027

We're still working out all the details: the timings for the ceremony, drinks, dinner and the party. We'll keep updating this page as the day gets closer, so check back every now and then. We'll let you know when there's important news.

For now, we just need to know whether you can come.

Getting there

By bus

There are buses to Villamartín from Seville, Jerez and Málaga. You'll need a taxi for the last 6 km.

Jerez (XRY)
≈ 40 min
Seville (SVQ)

A minibus from the airport?

If enough of you are interested, we'll organise a minibus from the airports. We'll ask you closer to the date, along with times and pick-up points.

For now, we just need to know whether you can come.

Where to crash afterwards?

The hacienda has rooms on the estate itself, just steps from the party, and it's the most practical place to stay on the wedding night.

There are 7 double rooms, 2 two-bedroom houses and a good number of bungalows with shared rooms of 8 comfortable single beds, perfect for crashing after the party. There's room for most guests to stay the night, at a very accessible price.

If you'd like to stay at the hacienda, get in touch with us directly and we'll help you sort it out. You can also let us know when you RSVP.

Andalusia

Andalusia is the south of Spain: the land of flamenco, white villages, flower-filled patios, tapas and more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Centuries of Roman, Moorish and Christian history come together here, and you can feel it in every city, every dish and every fiesta.

The hacienda is right in the heart of Andalusia. If you're coming from far away, we'd encourage you to stay a few extra days and discover this part of Spain.

Close to the hacienda (< 1 h)

  • The White Villages: Arcos, Zahara and Grazalema, whitewashed houses clinging to the rock.
  • Jerez de la Frontera: home of sherry, flamenco and Andalusian horses. Visit a bodega or the equestrian show.
  • Cádiz and the Costa de la Luz: one of the oldest cities in Europe, and beaches like Conil and Vejer.

If you have a couple of extra days (< 3 h)

  • Seville (1 h 15)
  • Ronda (1 h)
  • Córdoba (2 h 15)
  • Málaga (2 h)
  • Granada (3 h)

October is the perfect time to travel around Spain, with mild days and fewer tourists. Evenings can be cool, so bring something warm.

FAQs

  1. I.When do I need to RSVP by?

We'd be grateful if you could let us know within a month of receiving your invitation. Most importantly, if you already know you can't make it, please let us know as soon as you can: it really helps us plan. If your plans change, you can update your reply with the same link.

  2. II.Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation shows everyone it includes. If you're unsure, just ask us.

  3. III.Are children invited?

Of course! Any children invited are named on your invitation.

  4. IV.What's the dress code?

Formal wedding attire. The days should be lovely, but evenings in the sierra get chilly, so bring something warm for after sunset. And pack some dancing shoes for when the party gets going!

  5. V.What's the weather like in late October?

Days are usually mild and pleasant, around 22–26 °C (72–79 °F), but evenings in the sierra get cool, dropping to about 12–15 °C (54–59 °F). Pack a layer.

  6. VI.Should I keep the whole weekend free?

No need: the wedding is on Sunday 24th. We did choose half-term knowing many of you will want to make a holiday of it, so the other days are yours to enjoy Andalusia!

  7. VII.What language will the wedding be in?

Both, just like us. Expect a lively mix of Spanish and English.

  8. VIII.How do I get there and get around?

We recommend renting a car if you can: it's very cheap in southern Spain (sometimes from around €10 a day) and gives you the freedom to explore. We like Booking.com for comparing prices. If you'd rather not drive, we can help you book a local taxi. Villamartín also has buses to the main cities nearby. And if enough of you are interested, we'll organise a minibus from the airports closer to the date. You'll find drive times under "Getting there".

  9. IX.Where can I stay?

See "Where to crash afterwards?" above. There are rooms at the hacienda itself and in the villages nearby. Book early!

  10. X.What about gifts?

No gifts, please. Really, we insist. We know what it means to travel all the way to Spain, and having you there is the best gift we could ask for. So please don't bring anything: just come ready to celebrate and dance.

  11. XI.I have another question. Who do I ask?

    Just message us on WhatsApp: Andrea · +44 7951 845165 or Will · +44 7957 538556.
